Due to landslides that have occurred along with the rains for the past few days, various main highways and road sections across the country have been completely blocked.
Due to landslides this morning, the Kanti Lokpath in Pangdur, Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Pyuthan Sarumarani Rural Municipality-4, Khare Khola, Bhaluwang-Pyuthan Road Section, Bhairangdanda, Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-8, Makwanur, and Mid-Hill Highway in Bimire, Bhanjyang, Lamjung Madhya Nepal Municipality-10 have been completely blocked, informed Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Abinarayan Kafle.
He said, "Various highways and road sections have been completely blocked due to landslides this morning. The Araniko Highway in Kodari, Bhotekoshi-2, Sindhupalchowk has been completely blocked due to the landslide on April 16 and has not been able to operate yet.'
The Mid-Hill Highway in Bhojpur Municipality-5 Bokhim, which was blocked due to the flood on April 12, and the Beni-Jomsom road section in Jalathale, Annapurna Rural Municipality-3, Myagdi, has been operated in one-way due to the landslide on April 16, according to the police.
