The ministry has requested citizens who need assistance and are currently stranded on the streets to register at the Dasharath Ranshala in Tripureshwor, designated as the primary registration center.
'Arrangements have been made to collect the 'digital' data of genuine landless citizens and manage it systematically through the 'Holding Center'. Citizens will be provided with basic facilities including housing, food, health care, children's education and psychological counseling,' the press note issued by the Ministry of Urban Development said.
The ministry has also urged genuine landless and economically weak citizens to attend the registration center and utilize the services provided by the government. The ministry has also clarified that the government is fully committed to the safe, systematic and long-term rehabilitation of citizens.
