Due to the influence of the low pressure area in the lower atmosphere, most of the country is currently cloudy. Moderate rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds is occurring in many places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and some places in Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, while similar rain is also occurring in one or two places in Madhesh and Sudurpaschim provinces, according to the Hydrology and Meteorology Forecasting Division.
It will be generally to completely cloudy in most parts of the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning and snowfall in the mountainous areas in some places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces and in the mountainous and hilly areas.
Similarly, it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous areas of the country tonight, while it is predicted to be partially cloudy in the hilly and Terai regions. The division has stated that moderate rain and snowfall is likely in some places in the mountainous and hilly parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in some other parts as well.
