The government has accelerated the formal homework of amending the constitution through the 'Constitutional Amendment Discussion Paper Preparation Task Force-2082'.
The task force formed under the coordination of Prime Minister Balendra Shah's Chief Political Advisor Asim Shah has organized a special discussion with senior advocates and lawyers at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers from 3 to 5 pm today.
The task force had discussed with constitutional experts yesterday. The task force formed as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on Chaitra 16, 2082 has taken forward this consultation process as per the decision of the meeting of Baisakh 10.
The task force is preparing to prepare a concrete discussion paper for amending the constitution based on the suggestions collected from the discussions with all stakeholders and submit it to the government.
