A person has died in a wild boar attack in Lalbandi, Sarlahi. The deceased is Prem Bahadur Thing (Dawa), 32, of Pidkholsa, Lalbandi Municipality-15.
The injured person in the wild boar attack died on the way to Lalbandi on Mahendra Highway for treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Saroj Rai, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Sarlahi.
A police team prepared a report of the incident site at midnight and sent the body to the Provincial Hospital, Malangwa for an autopsy. Thing had been living in the field for a few days to look after the corn planted in the field after the wild boar damaged it.
