Today too, the weather has changed and rain has fallen in various parts of the country. While the heat is increasing in some places, some districts have also received moderate rain today.
Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini of the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed that the weather will continue to change in some areas including Koshi for a few more days and the heat will increase in the Terai areas.
He also requested to keep informed about official information as the weather keeps changing rapidly. According to him, in the last three hours today, 22.6 mm of rain has fallen in Chitwan, 25.8 mm in Tanahun, 14 mm in Kaski, 8.8 mm in Lamjung, and 20 mm in Nawalparasi East. Khotang also received 25 mm of rain in the afternoon today.
On Saturday, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder/lightning in a few places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and in the hilly and hilly areas of Lumbini Province, as well as in one or two places in the mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
