Nepal Telecom is operating a 1 Gbps broadband service within Singha Durbar, while an additional 250 Mbps broadband is being used to operate 'G-Cloud'. He said that problems with fiber cutting or damage are seen especially during road and other infrastructure construction.
Although the center is responsible for managing external internet connections in the Singha Durbar premises, he also pointed out the need to deploy skilled human resources related to information technology in each ministry and agency, as the internal server and network management within the office is the responsibility of the relevant agency.
