Minister for Cooperatives Pratibha Rawal informed that the resignations of the chairman and two expert members of the troubled Cooperative Management Committee have been accepted.

The Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to accept their resignations. The chairman of the committee, Shriman Gautam, and expert members Lalit Kumar Maharjan and Dhruv Acharya submitted their resignations to the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation today.

The government appointed them for a two-year term on 20 Baisakh 2081. They resigned while their term was remaining.
