Police have arrested 195 people from various places in Kathmandu.

According to Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Ramesh Thapa, those arrested include those involved in nighttime business, vandalizing public property and harassing passengers at the airport.

Police had conducted a 'search operation' throughout the night on Friday to arrest them. 

18 people arrested from the airport

Police have taken 18 people under control from the Tribhuvan International Airport area on charges of harassing passengers and cheating.

According to Kathmandu Police Range Spokesperson Pawan Bhattarai, a police team deployed in the airport area of ​​Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9 arrested them.

2) Ekesh Tamang, 22, from Banke and residing in Airport

3) Prem Kumar Magar, 26, from Panchthar and residing in Airport

6) Khagendra Limbu, 38, from Panchthar and residing in Tokha

7) Ashish Khatiwada, 29, from Morang and residing in Airport

8) Bishwa Moktan, 34, from Makwanpur and residing in Sambhumarg

9) Birendra Jha, 45, from Dhanusha and residing in Airport

10) Ladda Miya, 60, from Siraha and residing in Tilganga

11) Parshuram Rai, 46, from Morang and residing in Naya Buspark

12) Santu, 27, from Ramechhap and residing in Bhaktapur Tamang

13) Raghubir Shah, 53, from Dhanusha and living in Tilganga

14) Rajiv Kumar Rawat, 33, from Mahottari and living in Tilganga

15) Saroj Kumar Mahato, 26, from Dhanusha and living in Gaushala

16) Ajay Lama, 19, from Makwanpur and living in Gaushala

17) Keshav Limbu, 39, from Jhapa and living in Sinamangal

18) Ram Prasad Joshi, 20, from Bajhang and living in Sinamangal

19) Bimalraj Joshi, 29, from Bajhang and living in Kirtipur

5 people involved in hooliganism

1. Pravin Tamang – Active in Shyam Lama group, has been committing hooliganism in the Buddhist area.

2. Birju Maharjan – Involved in hooliganism in Kalanki (Bafal) area.

3. Sujan Karki-Active in hooliganism in the area around the Kalanki bus ticket counter and petrol pump.

4. Active in hooliganism in the Saru Gumagain-Syuchatar area.

5. Involved in robbery and hooliganism in the Vicky Lama-Buddh area.

13 people including Kimjong Bose arrested

The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has taken 13 people under control on charges of involvement in hooliganism.  

According to the Crime Investigation Office, 13 people including Kimjong Bose, Ashok Giri, Sanjeev Lama, Suresh Gurung were arrested in an operation conducted overnight.
