The details of the letters received from the Office of the President regarding the appointment of the Prime Minister and the formation of the Council of Ministers have been informed in today's meeting of the House of Representatives. 

Senior Member Arjun Narsingh KC, who chaired the meeting, informed the details of President Ram Chandra Poudel appointing House of Representatives member Balendra Shah as the Prime Minister of Nepal in accordance with Article 76 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal. 

He also informed the House about the 15-member Council of Ministers formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Shah and the division of work. Earlier, Senior Member KC had informed the House about the details of the letter received from the Office of the President regarding the convening of the session. 

The meeting unanimously approved the proposal to conduct business in accordance with the House of Representatives Rules, 2079 BS, until the House formulates its own rules, in accordance with Article 104 of the Constitution of Nepal. 

In the meeting, senior member KC also informed that MPs Aren Rai, Ganga Chhantyal, Tarih Ali Bhat, Wasana Thapa, Bishwaraj Pokharel, Yagya Bahadur Bogati and Balawati Sharma have been nominated to preside over the meeting in the absence of the Speaker.
