In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has presented three ordinances. Under the regular agenda after the members made their statements on a party-based basis in the first meeting of the first session of the House, he presented the 'Citizenship (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082', 'Election of Members of the House of Representatives (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082' and 'Nepal Special Service (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2082'. 

The law was amended through the ordinance for the reservation of the population to be included in the closed list of proportional representation as per Article 84 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal. After the date of the election of the House of Representatives was fixed for 21 Falgun, the previous government had brought the 'Election of Members of the House of Representatives (First Amendment) Ordinance' for the purpose of updating the voter list for that purpose.

Home Minister Gurung informed that the 'Nepal Special Service (Third Amendment) Ordinance' has been issued to place the National Investigation Department under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The meeting passed a condolence resolution on the deaths of Constituent Assembly members and former members Hrishikesh Gautam, Mohammad Aftab Alam, Krishna Kumari Shrestha, Amod Prasad Upadhyay, Homnath Dahal, and Constituent Assembly and National Assembly member Baldev Bohara at various times.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on Sunday, Chaitra 22 at 11 am.
