According to District Court Information Officer Deepak Shrestha, he was produced before the court a short while ago. The police arrested him on Sunday morning.

Former minister Deepak Khadka, who was arrested for investigation in a money laundering case, has been presented to the Kathmandu District Court for an extension of his term. 

According to District Court Information Officer Deepak Shrestha, he was presented to the court a while ago. The police arrested him on Sunday morning. A video of his house burning money during the Gen-G movement was made public. The police arrested Khadka on the basis of an urgent arrest warrant. 

He was the Minister of Energy from the Nepali Congress. Today, another Congress leader, Ramesh Lekhak, was also presented and a debate was held on the extension of his term. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was also presented virtually for an extension of his term.
