The Labor Court has continued the interim order not to immediately remove 14 temporary employees who were dismissed from the Social Welfare Council.

The bench of Labor Court Chairman Janak Pandey, members Shailendra Kumar Chaurasia and Kumari Kharel has continued the short-term interim order not to immediately implement the decision to dismiss the workers. The order states, 'Since it is seen from the attached documents that the budget for their remuneration has been passed for the fiscal year 2082/83 and the necessary process for permanent appointment to these posts has been taken forward, the permanent appointment process should not be stopped until the final decision of the case is made, and the petitioner should not be removed from the work they have been doing, and should be continued.'

Sunil Chand had filed a case demanding the cancellation of the decision to dismiss him from employment. The council management had removed him from work since 25th Magh 2082.

Earlier, the court had issued a short-term order on 12th Falgun. The same order has been continued today. There were 54 temporary contract employees working in the council at various times since 2073 BS. Out of them, the then management had removed only 14 people.
