Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut submitted the report to President Poudel at a program organized at the President's residence, Sheetal Niwas, on Wednesday. On the occasion, President Poudel said that the values of the judiciary will always remain alive if the administration of justice is made fast, efficient, accessible and accountable to the people to realize the judicial motto of equality before the constitution and law and strengthen public trust and confidence in the judiciary.
He also mentioned that modern and contemporary methods and systems have been practiced in the entire judicial process in recent times and the use of information technology has ensured ease and transparency in the entire judicial process from case registration to the implementation of judgments, and these efforts are truly exemplary.
'Although the increasing injustice and accusations in society are having an indirect and direct impact on all sides, there is no alternative but to always move forward fearlessly towards maintaining judicial good governance. Therefore, I believe that the leadership of the judiciary should focus on effectively addressing the important suggestions raised in various reports and taking appropriate steps to strengthen judicial independence and judicial accountability,' he said.
He said that he believes that judicial work should not be adversely affected in any situation.
