In the death of 16-year-old Inisha BK in Surkhet, the police have concluded that there was no gang rape. The District Police Office, Surkhet, has completed the investigation into the incident and submitted a report to the District Government Attorney's Office.
On February 23, Inisha of Birendranagar Municipality-1 left her home to go to school. On the same day, she was found unconscious in the Janajagaran Community Forest in Birendranagar-4. The police rescued her and took her to the Karnali Provincial Hospital, but the doctors declared her dead.
After the incident, the police arrested a 16-year-old teenager and started an investigation. In his initial statement, the teenager said that he lost consciousness due to excessive bleeding after having physical contact with Inisha.
The post-mortem report also showed that she died due to excessive bleeding due to a deep injury to the internal genitalia, according to the police.
According to the police, three other people were also taken into custody in the incident and are being investigated.
