Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) President Rabi Lamichhane paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki in Baluwatar on Sunday.

President Lamichhane congratulated Prime Minister Karki for the historic election and the peaceful exit of the country. He said, 'The country has found a smooth and democratic exit after the fair election was held on time, this is not an ordinary thing. I would like to congratulate and thank the Honorable Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers and the Secretariat for this success.'

President Lamichhane said, 'The country found a way out because of the rock-solid stance and determination here. A peaceful, fair and quality election has been possible compared to any previous election. You have succeeded in giving the country a democratic exit and a safe landing through the election, surprising the world with a small team and in a short time. For this, we have high respect for you.'

He said that the country will always remember the contribution made by the government led by Prime Minister Karki and expected Prime Minister Karki's continued guidance and parental role in the coming days as well.

Prime Minister Karki congratulated the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for its success in the elections and suggested that the countrymen work together in a way that will not disappoint them. 'The countrymen have great expectations from the youth. There are many challenges, but they should be able to bring smiles to the faces of the country by moving forward with restraint,' Prime Minister Karki said, 'If you work with integrity, you will definitely get the expected results. You should move forward in a way that responds to those who oppose and criticize through work.'

They discussed contemporary political issues and Chairman Lamichhane clarified that he and the party have no objections to the decisions made by the government, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat. 'The government is the government. It can work until the last day. We have no objections to the decisions made by this government,' he said, 'We have high respect for the government that has fulfilled this historic responsibility. Therefore, we support this government's steps and we will support its decisions.'

Taking interest in the problems faced by Nepali students in Portugal, the safety of Nepali workers amid the tension in the Middle East, and the supply of petroleum products, President Lamichhane had urged that appropriate steps be taken on these issues as well.
