The weather has improved as the rain-making system that has been active since Friday has weakened. Meteorologist Bibhuti Pokharel of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed that the weather has improved significantly and there will be no rain like on Friday and this morning.

According to Pokharel, pre-monsoon activities will continue and there will be scattered showers on Sunday as well. Currently, there is light rain in some places in the eastern region of Nepal and other regions, and this will also gradually disappear, he said. Even if the current rain-making system is removed, the sun will shine and the clouds will return, but there will be no heavy and prolonged rain immediately, he said.

According to the department's records, light rain is currently being experienced in some places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Madhesh Province. According to the department's last 24-hour report, Palpa has received the highest rainfall of 75.8 millimeters. Rupandehi has received 75.2 millimeters, Morang has received 63.8 millimeters, Dhankuta has received 63.2 millimeters, and Kapilvastu has received 59.6 millimeters.
