Currently, Nepal is under the influence of a western low pressure system and local winds. Currently, most of the hilly and mountainous areas including Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are cloudy.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that there is moderate to heavy rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning in some places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in a few places in the rest of the provinces.
It will be mostly cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. According to the division, there is a possibility of moderate rain/snowfall with thunder and lightning in many places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in some places in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The division has stated that it will be generally cloudy throughout the country at night. Light rain/snowfall with thunder and lightning in a few places in the mountainous areas including Koshi and the rest of the provinces and in one or two places in the rest of the hilly areas There is a possibility of rain and snow.
