Lima Adhikari has resigned from the board of directors of Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA). Adhikari took leave from NIFRA on Monday after being elected as a member of the House of Representatives through the proportional system of the National Independent Party (NISP). Adhikari is the central treasurer of the NISP. Adhikari, who served on the NIFRA board of directors for four and a half years, was last unanimously elected for a second term at the seventh annual general meeting on December 23. Adhikari said that she will take initiatives for several policy and administrative reforms to resolve the obstacles seen in Nepal's infrastructure development in the coming days. Adhikari said, "My journey as the board of directors of Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) for nearly four and a half years has officially ended today." Adhikari said that it is a significant achievement for me to be associated with this prestigious organization that promotes investment in the country's infrastructure sector.
He believes that he is fully confident that the investment bank will be successful in bringing in even bigger and more glorious projects for Nepal's economic transformation in the coming days.
