UML has finalized the names of 16 MPs from the proportional representation. Deputy General Secretary Lekhraj Bhatta informed that the list of MPs was finalized by the central secretariat meeting.
Vice President Ram Bahadur Thapa, Kulbhakta Shakya, Bhumika Subba and Gangadevi Shrestha are from the indigenous women/men. Padma Aryal, Tukabhadra Hamal and Yashoda Kumari Baral are from the Khasa Arya women's group.
Guru Baral and Pushpa Kandel are from the men's side, Kriparam Rana Tharu is from the Tharu cluster. Similarly, Bishnumaya BK and Nita Ghatani are from the Dalits. Ringla Yadav and Yashoda Kumari Yadav are from the Madhesi women's side, and Chandeshwor Mandal is from the Madhesi men's side. UML has decided to make Sajita Yadav Siddiqui a proportional representation MP from the Muslim women.
