During the meeting, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Maoming thanked the Government of Nepal and the Ministry of Home Affairs for conducting the elections in a peaceful and fear-free environment. Highly appreciating the work done by the Ministry in election security and border security management, he pledged to further strengthen the historical relations between Nepal and China.
