Fly Dubai is set to operate flights on the Dubai-Kathmandu-Dubai route tonight.
According to the Tribhuvan International Airport Office, nine countries in the region suspended flights in the airspace following the tension that arose after the joint military attack by the US and Israel on Saturday.
This will be one of the first regular flights to be operated from the Gulf on Wednesday night. On a normal day, Fly Dubai operates three flights to Nepal daily.
According to the information released by the airport spokesperson, before this special flight, around 70 flights of 7 airlines to the Gulf were canceled due to the closure of the regional air route.
UAE airlines have gradually resumed some flights after taking safety assessments and necessary precautions. Accordingly, flights to Nepal are also set to open.
Fly Dubai has been advising its passengers to contact the respective airline offices directly for flight times and details.
Fly Dubai customers can also contact the respective travel agency for official flight details and passenger assistance information. Only point-to-point passengers will be given priority on this flight. Passengers from third countries will not be given priority.
