A high-level security meeting is being held at the Election Commission targeting the upcoming elections.
Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari, along with all three commissioners of the commission, the heads of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department, Nepal Army Rathi, and secretaries of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Defense are participating in the meeting.
A Home Ministry official informed that the meeting is discussing election security challenges and creating a safe voting environment by keeping them under control.
