Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has reached the hospital to meet the injured in the Dhading bus accident. Home Minister Aryal met the injured undergoing treatment at the Nepal National Hospital and the National Trauma Center in Kalanki on Monday afternoon and inquired about their health condition.
19 people died in the accident, while 25 were injured. The injured have been rescued and are currently being treated at the Nepal National Hospital, Trauma Center and various hospitals in Dhading.
On the occasion, Home Minister Aryal wished for the speedy recovery of the injured and pledged that the government will not allow any lapse in their treatment. He said that the accident will be investigated promptly and the culprits will be brought to justice.
A 5-member investigation task force has been formed under the coordination of the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs to find out the truth about the accident.
A passenger bus (Ga 2 Kha 1421) coming from Pokhara to Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway fell into the Trishuli River at a place called Bhansegouda, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-5, Dhading at 1:30 am.
The Home Minister was accompanied by the Home Secretary, high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs, officials of the Ministry of Health, and heads of security agencies, among others, who reached the hospital.
