The government has directed health institutions (hospitals) to provide details of those injured during the Gen-G protests.

Ministry of Health and Population spokesperson Dr. Prakash Budhathoki said that all health institutions involved in the treatment of the injured who were discharged during the Gen-G movement have been instructed to immediately provide the details of the injured to the Ministry of Health.

According to him, the ministry has instructed all health institutions to provide the details of the injured by Falgun 15 as per the decision of the coordination committee formed to make the treatment and recovery of the injured of the Gen-G movement effective. 

Ministry spokesperson Dr. Budhathoki said that the details have been asked to be provided by Falgun 1 to 15 in order to complete the work related to the listing and classification and reclassification of the injured on time. He informed that the applications received by Falgun 15 will be investigated and the final list of the injured will be made public. 

According to Ministry spokesperson Dr. Budhathoki, so far, the classification details of only 200 injured have been available. He said that although many were injured during the Gen-G movement, those with minor injuries may not have been contacted because they do not have any facilities.

The government has decided to provide Rs 9,000 per month to those classified as very seriously injured and those caring for the injured during the Gen-G protests, Spokesperson Dr. Budhathoki informed.

According to him, the ministry's statistics show that 2,599 people were injured during the Gen-G protests.
