Nepal Electricity Authority is going to cut electricity in various places in Kathmandu today . The Authority has published a notice stating that there will be a power cut in the Sinamangal Chowk and Tilganga areas under the jurisdiction of the Baneshwor Distribution Center .
The Authority has stated that it is going to shut down the 11 kV transmission line in front of the Tilganga Eye Hospital due to a fallen pole.
The Authority is going to cut electricity in Tilganga, Prakash Sanyas Ashram, Sambhumarg, Gaushakha and the areas around the airport from 11 am to 12:30 pm . Similarly, there will be a power cut in Tinkune, Gairigaun, Sinamangal and all areas within the airport area from 1 pm to 2:30 pm .
The Authority has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the customers due to the power cut .
Similarly, there will be power cuts in various places under the Maharajgunj Distribution Center . The distribution system is being undergrounded by the Kathmandu Valley Central and North Distribution System Strengthening Project, and to complete the work, there will be a power cut from 10 am to 2 pm today.
According to the NEA, there will be a power cut in the areas around Baluwatar, Shivpuri School, Pandol Marg, and Prime Minister's House from 10 am to 3 pm.
Similarly, there will be a power cut in the areas of Hepali Heights, Chhyasingdol, Deurali Janata, Bhagwati Mandir, and Dhapasligayat.
Similarly, there will be a power cut in the areas including Banshidhar Marg, Chandol, Bishalnagar, Central Apartment, and Tundaldevi Mandir from 12 pm to 2 pm, according to the NEA.
