The UML has expressed its serious concern over the incident in which cadres of the National Independent Party (NISP) burned a flag bearing their election symbol, the 'Sun', in Tulsipur, Dang on Thursday night.

UML Central Publicity Coordinator Min Bahadur Shahi issued a statement today, stating that the sloganeering against Chairman KP Sharma Oli with indecent words and the conduct of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) cadres in the hometown of General Secretary Shankar Pokharel is a criminal act against the state, people, democracy and the constitution. UML has demanded legal action against those involved in the incident.
