Addressing the joint coordination meeting that began at the military headquarters on Tuesday, Prime Minister Karki suggested that if there were any errors and gaps in coordination between security mechanisms in the past, that situation should not be repeated now.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki has instructed the security forces to remain vigilant and ensure that no mistakes are made in election security.
Addressing the coordination meeting of the army headquarters that began on Tuesday on the eve of Mahashivaratri and Army Day, Prime Minister Karki suggested that if there were any errors and gaps in coordination between the security mechanisms in the past, that situation should not be repeated now.
Prime Minister Karki said, 'To conduct this election safely, analyze the experience of previous elections and the various dimensions of the upcoming elections, and work flawlessly in coordination with all security bodies based on security sensitivity.'
Prime Minister Karki clarified that she is fully confident that the Nepal Army will perform its responsibilities in an excellent manner according to the 'Integrated Security Plan for Election of Members of the House of Representatives, 2082' approved by the Government of Nepal to conduct the election in a safe environment.
While guaranteeing security and creating an environment for the political activities of all political parties to operate without hindrance, she directed them to move forward with a clear action plan in collaboration with other bodies.
The meeting, which was attended by the heads of various departments, directorates, directorates and vice-chairmen of the Nepal Army, was welcomed by Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel and informed about the overall security situation.
The participants in the meeting will review the situation in their respective areas of responsibility, present their suggestions and reviews the work they have done, and discuss current issues, according to the Military Information and Public Relations Directorate.
