A 4-year-old girl died when a vehicle carrying the election campaign of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) candidate from Rautahat Constituency No. 2, Sheikh Sagir, hit her. On Thursday afternoon, a car with the registration number Ba 15 Cha 4244 hit Mohammad Sagir's 4-year-old daughter Alfa Khatun at Mathiyatol in Ishanath Municipality-4 of Rautahat. Police said that the car hit the girl while the RSVP candidate Sagir was visiting houses in Mathiya village. After the collision, the seriously injured girl was taken to City Hospital Gaur for treatment by the driver.

The police took the injured girl to the hospital and arrested the absconding driver in the evening. The girl was then taken to Provincial Hospital Gaur for further treatment. Police said that the girl was declared dead by doctors in Gaur.
