After registering his nomination in Jhapa-5 on 6th Magh, he stayed in Damak for a few days and met voters. After that, he toured the eastern hilly districts. After returning to Kathmandu, he also visited the districts of the far west. Now, he will be meeting cadres in Damak for a few days, according to his secretariat. 

While Balendra was away in the country, his wife Sabina Kafle also met voters in Jhapa-5.
