The Election Commission has made public the sample ballot papers of various districts and constituencies for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.

The commission has made public the sample ballot papers of all seven provinces. It has also made public one type of ballot paper for districts with only one constituency and a different type of ballot paper for districts with more than one constituency. The sample ballot paper will be used for voter education.

According to Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, the sample ballot paper has also been prepared based on the number of candidates. The size of the ballot paper for constituencies with more candidates is comparatively larger and smaller ballot papers have been printed for constituencies with fewer candidates.

Karnali Province, which has only one constituency, has two constituencies in Salyan, Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim and two in Dailekh and Surkhet. The commission has also made public the sample ballot papers of those districts.

Similarly, in the Far Western Province, Bajura, Bajhang, Doti, Darchula, Baitadi and Dadeldhura have only one constituency. There are two constituencies in Achham, three in Kanchanpur and five in Kailali. The commission has also made the sample ballot papers of all those constituencies public. The ballot papers for the proportional electoral system have already been printed.
