38 millimeters of rain has fallen in Sheragaun of Rukum and 33 millimeters in Jajarkot, 35.6 in Baitadi, 33.2 in Dadeldhura, 30.2 in Bajur, 32.4 in Manang and 31 millimeters in Dolpa. Heavy snowfall has also occurred in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the western region of Nepal. Rainfall has occurred in most of the western districts including Bagmati Province today, causing snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous areas of those districts.
The hilly and mountainous areas of the country will be partly cloudy tonight and the weather will remain mainly clear in the remaining areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall/rain at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces.
On Thursday, there will be mist/fog in many places in the Terai region, partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and the weather will be mainly clear in the rest of the region, the department has stated.
It is said that light snowfall/rain is possible in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
