It was reported that Mahato, who came third, gave up his addiction and went into animal husbandry. It is reported that Bhandari and his family's main occupation is animal husbandry.

The organizers have stated that the ‘show’ was conducted with the aim of establishing farmers accustomed to cow dung as ‘brand ambassadors’ of milk reaching the market and making the animal husbandry profession dignified and respectable.

The show’s producer Rabin Subedi informed that the winner was announced based on the evaluation of aspects such as farmers’ milking skills, behavior towards animals, diet management, cleanliness of the cowshed and purity of milk.

The show showed respect for hardworking farmers and the condition of livestock farmers and presented stories of hard work and struggle in an interesting way for the new generation to understand, Subedi said. He said that since the first edition received a positive response, there is a plan to make the program more informative and comprehensive in the coming days in collaboration with the Government of Nepal.

Program coordinator Govinda Neupane mentioned that the ‘show’ was conducted with the aim of making farmers ‘idols’ at a time when many farmers have achieved economic progress through animal husbandry. The event, sponsored by an organization called Kheti, was promoted by Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

The judges of the competition were Tejendra Prasad Poudel, senior agricultural economist at Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Shatrughan Shah, associate professor at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Bhagirath Timilsena, vice president of the Central Dairy Producers Cooperative Association, and Dr. Yagyaraj Pandey, technical officer of the National Cattle Research Program, Rampur.
