Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has presented three ordinances in the National Assembly meeting held today.

Minister Aryal presented the ‘Voters’ Roll Act, 2073 Amendment Ordinance, 2082’, ‘House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082’ and ‘Nepal Special Service Act (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2082’.

Similarly, Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee Chairperson Kamala Panta presented the ‘Study Report on National Ethics Policy, 2082’ to the House. Similarly, Legislative Management Committee Chairperson Tulsa Kumari Dahal presented the committee’s report on the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’ to the House.

In the meeting, Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal read out the letters received from the President’s Office regarding the formation of the Council of Ministers and assignment of responsibilities. The meeting passed a condolence resolution on the demise of former ministers Hrishikesh Gautam, Mohammad Aftab Alam, Amod Prasad Upadhyay, Homnath Dahal and former MP Krishna Kumari Shrestha. The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Tuesday, Magh 13, at 1:15 pm.
