The Hydrology and Meteorology Division has stated that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some places in the Far Western Province today. The Division has also stated that light snowfall is possible in some places in the high hilly and mountainous parts of Karnali and the Far Western Provinces.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the hilly areas of the rest of the provinces will be partly cloudy. The weather is expected to be mainly clear in most parts of the Terai.

Similarly, it is expected to be generally cloudy in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces tonight, while the rest of the provinces will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim as well as Gandaki Province.

There is a possibility of moderate snowfall with thunder and lightning in some places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province. In addition, there is a possibility of rain with thunder, lightning and hail in one or two places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, the division has stated.
