The Nepali Congress has nominated former district party president Ram Chandra Khadka as its candidate for the House of Representatives elections in Ramechhap.
Nepali Congress Ramechhap had recommended the names of 10 people, including Khadka , current district party president and former Energy , Minister of State for Water Resources and Irrigation Purna Bahadur Tamang (Kanchharam), to the center. Out of these, five names, including Khadka and Tamang, were in the news.
At the district level, there was widespread talk that former State Minister Tamang would get the ticket. However, the party's central committee decided on Monday night to field former leader and former district president Khadka, Nepali Congress Ramechhap Vice President Lekh Bahadur Karki informed.
