The commission organized the special general convention as per the statute, as per the Nepali Congress statute, which provides that 40 percent of the general convention delegates can demand a special general convention, and accordingly, there is a mandatory provision to organize a general convention.
The commission clearly stated that the general convention delegate is the highest representative and the decisions it makes are those of the party.
The commission has made it clear that the special general convention was organized as per the statute as there was no disagreement on the demand for a special general convention. Bhandari said that the aggrieved party can now go to court.
