Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that a suitable environment has been created for the upcoming elections to be held on Falgun 21. He clarified that rumors that the elections will be held in two phases are baseless.

In a brief conversation with media persons in Rajbiraj, Saptari on Tuesday evening, he said that there is no doubt about the election and that the election will be held in a single phase across the country.

Stating that the country is becoming election-oriented, he said that it is the responsibility of the government to hand over responsibility to the elected government by conducting a fair, free and rigged election on the scheduled date of Falgun 21.

Home Minister Aryal said, 'This civilian government, which was formed with the main 'mandate' of conducting the election and handing over responsibility to the elected government, is moving forward with the main objective of maintaining good governance and ensuring peace and security and conducting the election in a clean, fair and rigged environment on the scheduled date.'

Home Minister Aryal said, 'The activism of political parties, public interest and the overall situation have indicated that the atmosphere for the election is also strengthening. The atmosphere is not as bad as before, the atmosphere for the election is now becoming much stronger.'

Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki, who accompanied him to Saptari, expressed confidence that the election would be held on the scheduled date without any rigging. He informed that the government is fully committed to that end and that security arrangements have been strengthened in the district targeting the election.
