Prime Minister Sushila Karki has arrived to participate in a tea reception organized by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). She is accompanied by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel.

The RPP has organized various programs, including a tea party, at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu. Before the tea party, the RPP had garlanded the statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah.  

Every year, 27 Pus is celebrated as Prithvi Jayanti, showing respect to Maharaja Prithvi Narayan Shah, the leader of the unification of modern Nepal. 

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, former Chairman Kamal Thapa and many leaders, activists, and royalists were present.
