Kulman Ghising, who resigned as a minister after about 115 days, has claimed that he has not joined or joined any party so far.

Ghising, who has been in charge of three ministries of energy, water resources and irrigation, physical infrastructure and urban development in the civilian government formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, claimed that there was an agreement between Ujjaya Nepal and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on party unity, but he did not take membership.

‘I had accepted the ministerial post as per the Prime Minister’s request and the mandate of the Gen-G movement. During this period, I have worked honestly for the country. I express my gratitude to Prime Minister Karki and Gen-G for this opportunity,’ Ghising said, ‘My decision to resign was not a decision to run away but because of my commitment to the people.’

He claimed that even after leaving office, he would not forget the path of the people and that the path ahead would be political.

‘Although my name was mentioned in the agreement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) but it has not been implemented yet. I have not yet taken membership,' he said, 'I will take party membership after formally joining the party.'

He claimed that the pressure to appoint his own people to the post after resigning was false. He also claimed that Nepal has a history of ministers contesting elections while remaining in office. He claimed that he worked for the people during this period. He claimed that he had worked honestly during this period and that he had received information about why the state did not work on time. He said that these things were not personal and that he expected them to be fulfilled.

He said that the final report on projects including Rani Jamara Multipurpose was received and that an agreement was reached on the construction of a transmission line between Nepal and India during his time and that this construction would be completed by 2030. He claimed that Nepal had also been able to increase exports to Bangladesh. He also claimed that the construction of buildings damaged during the Gen-G movement had begun.
