The Supreme Court has prepared a file of more than 10,000 cases that were burned in arson. Out of the total 24,000 cases in the Supreme Court, 20,000 were burned in a fire during the Gen-G protest on Bhadra 24.

Only four thousand files were saved from the fire. According to Supreme Court spokesperson Nirajan Pandey, as of December 21, 10,340 files of cases have been prepared by the service-receiving organizations and the Attorney General's Office.

The Supreme Court had requested the Attorney General's Office, Nepal Bar Association and the parties to the case to provide the files of the burned cases. Accordingly, the work of collecting the files of the cases is underway.
