The Commission has directed the appointed Chief Election Officer to work in his constituency from next Magh 20.
The Election Commission has designated 36 district judges as Chief Election Officers and Election Officers on standby.
The Commission has appointed 77 district judges as Chief Election Officers. The date for the election of members of the House of Representatives has been set for the upcoming Falgun 21. In accordance with Section 8 of the House of Representatives Members Act, 2074, 88 people were appointed as Chief Election Officers and Election Officers in consultation with the Judicial Council, effective from Poush 25. According to the Commission, the Chief Election Officers and Election Officers appointed in this way have been instructed to work in their constituencies from the upcoming Magh 20. The Commission has urged the establishment of the offices of the Chief Election Officers and Election Officers and to conduct election programs.
There is a provision for 165 people to be elected through the direct election system and 110 people through the proportional election system in the total 275-member House of Representatives.
