The National Independent Party (NISP) is set to correct the closed list of candidates for the proportional representation (PR) for the House of Representatives (HoR) submitted to the Election Commission. The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has issued a statement saying that it will correct the shortcomings, saying that there may have been some shortcomings due to the rush to submit the proportional representation (PR) closed list due to reasons including party unity.

The Rashtriya Swatantra Party had submitted a proportional closed list with 110 candidates from the proportional representation party to the Election Commission on Poush 14. On Wednesday, the Rashtriya Swatantra Party Secretariat issued a press release informing that the proportional closed list would be corrected.

'Our attention has been drawn to the feedback and suggestions received from various stakeholders regarding the proportional closed list submitted by the National Independent Party to the Election Commission for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21,' the Rashtriya Swatantra Party Secretariat said. 'If the party finds any errors within the time limit given by the Election Commission to correct the errors in the said closed list, it is informed that it will be corrected and submitted on time. Therefore, appropriate suggestions regarding the correction of the closed list can be submitted through the provincial president or directly to the party central office by 10 am on Poush 17.'
