Pratibha Poudel, a student leader and a master's degree student in political science at Tribhuvan University, has emerged as the best. She won medals and awards as the university's gold medalist in MA Political Science.
On Thursday, she was awarded the Wadakaji Marichman Singh Medal and the Lalit Chand Award at the 51st convocation of Tribhuvan University. Poudel, who has an MA from the Central Department of Political Science, is also an MPhil student in the same department.
She is affiliated with the student organization Akhil Krantikari of the Revolutionary Communist Party close to Mohan Vaidya. 'I studied while doing student politics. Now, I want to stand in the academic field more than active politics,' she said.
