The proposed code of conduct prepared for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21 has proposed a provision that no candidate will be allowed to use vehicles without permission.

There are 74 days left for the election. The proposed code of conduct prepared by the commission proposes that no candidate will be allowed to use vehicles without permission.

The proposed code of conduct mentions that vehicles other than those with permission cannot be used for election campaigning or displaying campaign materials.

Similarly, the proposed code of conduct mentions that vehicles with foreign number plates cannot be used and no permission will be given. Political parties will be able to use the number and type of vehicles as per the process. The vehicles that have been granted permission will not be allowed to be used by other parties or candidates.

It has been proposed that political parties will have to submit the name of their chief campaigner to the commission for campaigning and that the chief campaigner who has been granted permission by the commission can use helicopters.
