The commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki, formed to investigate the incidents of 23 and 24 Bhadra, has taken additional statements from the then Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chandrakuber Khapung.
An official of the commission said that Khapung's statement is continuing at the commission's office in Singha Durbar. The then IGP Khapung had given a statement earlier as well.
The commission has stated that he has been called for a re-statement as more information needs to be understood and the statement is continuing.
Khapung was in charge of the police chief during the Gen-G demonstration. There are allegations that the security personnel used excessive force on the 23rd and failed to provide security to public property on the 24th.
