The talks between the government-formed negotiation committee and the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Civil Defense Campaign have been concluded in a cordial atmosphere.

The talks held at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Tuesday evening were fruitful, said Minister for Communications and Technology Jagdish Kharel, who is also the government's spokesperson.

Minister for Communications and Technology Jagdish Kharel said, 'A positive conversation has taken place in a cordial atmosphere between the government and the Civil Defence Campaign. Both sides held their respective talks in a cordial manner. An initial understanding has been reached to continue and address it by doing internal homework.'

Campaign's central Premdeep Limbu said that the talks took place in a positive and cordial atmosphere. He informed that it was agreed to move forward by resolving the demands raised by the campaign through step-by-step talks and dialogue after doing internal homework.

Minister for Communications Jagdish Kharel, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Ajaybhadra Khanal, Public Relations Advisor Govinda Narayan Timilsina and Secretary Premdeep Limbu from the Civil Defence Campaign, Devi Prasad Sangraula and Prem Thapa Magar participated in the talks from the government side. Advocates Binod Mani Bhattarai and Lavan Neupane facilitated the talks. After the conclusion of the talks, it is said that the team including campaign coordinator Durga Prasai will hold talks with Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

The government is holding talks and dialogues to create a political environment for the election as well as to conduct the election smoothly. The government had formed a high-level political dialogue committee a few days ago to hold talks with various political parties and stakeholders.

The committee formed under the coordination of Law Minister Anil Sinha includes Minister for Communications Kharel and Chief Political Advisor to the Prime Minister Ajaybhadra Khanal. Under the committee, an internal facilitation and problem-solving committee was formed under the coordination of Minister for Communications Kharel to hold talks with political parties and various parties. The same committee held talks with the Maha Abhiyan team today.
