205, 31 women, 53 indigenous people, 44 Madhesis, 28 Dalits and 7 from backward areas have been sought for the open category. The army has stated that applications should be submitted from Mangsir 26 to Poush 26 and from Poush 27 to Magh 3 by paying double the fee.

The army has stated that the age limit for candidates should be 18 years as of Mangsir 26 and not more than 25 years (date of birth from 2057/09/26 to 2064/09/26).
