212 Armed Police personnel have been taken into action on charges of making entertaining TikToks and reels while wearing Armed Police Force uniforms. Spokesperson Manish Thapa said that the Armed Police Force Headquarters has taken action for violating the code of conduct by making videos using uniforms on various social media platforms.

The Armed Police Force has stated that they have been admonished, suspended from promotion, warned, alerted, drawn to attention and verbally reprimanded.

The Armed Police Force has established a social media monitoring unit at its head office to monitor the social media activities of its employees.

The Armed Police Force has stated that action has been taken against those who were screened in the process.
