Buddhiram Darai of Chitwan, who was involved in the murder of former police constable Sita Dhital Kandel in Chaitra 2081 in Bhakunde, Besishahar Municipality-2, Lamjung, has been arrested from India.
Darai, a local from Chitwan, was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police with the help of Indian police and brought to Nepal. Eight months after the incident, the CIB arrested him on Wednesday with the help of Indian police.
Darai, who had fled after killing Kandel, had reached India. Police found the body of the deceased Kandel wrapped in a sheet and tarpaulin on a bed inside his own house on Chaitra 31, 2081.
Darai has been revealed to be a person who had served his sentence in a murder case .
